1. unfortunately it needs some restoration since the pool overflows when one does laps so they have banned laps which is a MAJOR pity.

4. The staff were very accomdating and even left us a bottle of bubbly in our room, which unfortunately we didnt drink as I had such a cold.

5. When we arrived I requested that i wanted a king room and a room with two double/queen beds in but unfortunately they could only give me 2 kings but they did put a rollaway bed in the kids room which was great.

6. unfortunately, there are not a lot of restaurants around except for the highly recommended Nob Hill Cafe and a bit further down from there, another more up market Italian restaurant and a very authentic French restaurant 'Rue Saint Jacques'.
