I guess in hindsight he was trying to continue to be accommodating even though he was having a medical
issue
, but it would have probably been better to have left the concierge desk for a bit to pull himself together.

Of note, the coverlet bedspread was worn and had several prominent stains, but as the chambermaid came in nightly to fold up the spread and turn down the sheets (and leave 2 complimentary water bottles), this wasn't too pressing an
issue
.
