1. There is no AC, but that is usually not a problem in SF.

2. In the morning, we alerted the front desk to the problem & they immediately made arrangements for us to switch rooms.

3. There was no heat or A/C in the main room, which was somewhat surprising, but the window did open and it wasn't a warm day so that was no real problem for us; but I could see that being a nightmare during Indian Summer or on a colder night.

4. Room was large, with a big sunny window, no noise problems, and really clean.

We were also offered a free bottle of wine, got free parking $18/night for 3 nights due to the problem, and she offered to move us the remaining 2 nights to a better room with a view (nice thought: but we don't want to unpack, repack and unpack again in 18 hours)So the customer service was exceptionally accommodating.
