I have stayed in Union Square a few times and tried to stay somewhere that was decent and not too
pricey
this time around that's how I came across the Laurel Inn.
"Not bad place to stay if you are willing to take taxi, bus, walk... "

The hotel has the atmosphere and amenities of some really
pricey
boutique hotels we have stayed in, at a far more moderate price.

-- and they seemed just as nice.
