1. No one on the door, had to ask about valet parking, a seemingly disinterested desk person - poor social skills - not what I've come to expect at Kimpton.

The possible cons (but, were strongly outweighed by the pros) small room (big enough for us since we really spent most of our time outside of the room) very poor view (5 feet to an opposing wall) vagrants sleeping on the unused lobby door (but this is common in SF) A/C was broken the first night, but was fixed the next day when we alerted the staff.
