1. Only two things to be aware of - hotel windows are single pane, thus a bit noisy in the morning (at least for rooms towards the front with the street) and of course parking a car in the center of SF, well costs a fortune (minimum $25 a night), as parking spots at the curbside are extremely rare to find.

2. I had a room with a view (I was looking at Nob Hill, I think it is? Can't remember), but at times it was really noisy - seems like the people in the streets were celebrating after some game or something.

6. I did not found it that noisy as the cable car does not transit on this specific street but you can take it a few steps further on the crossing of Post and Powell.
