1. This hotel is old world charm with heavy brass faucets that may have a slight patina, this is not a negative, unless you prefer standard hotel chrome.

2. only negative is no exercise room, but you get complimentary use of a small exercise area in a hotel about a block away.

3. There are no in-room safes (bit of a negative as the closets are big enough to have one) - so on check in make sure you ask for a check in desk safe as they can run out.

4. The only negative was that one of the two elevators was out of service my whole stay, but it didn't add too much time on to getting to and from my room.

To top it off, I had the pleasure (guilty?) of knowing that my colleagues paid 3X what I paid for equivalent rooms at some of the high-end chains in the area,The only negatives are very slow internet service and low water pressure in the shower, but that is standard fare in most older buildings in all cities.

9. The only negatives for me was that it would have been nice to have had a bar to relax in upon returning in the evening and I would also have liked a kettle in the room and not just a coffee machine as I hate coffee.
