this wasn't acceptable and eventually the only way to fix the
issue
was to turn off the cold water completely from the pipes which meant that the toilet couldn't flush.

The bathroom had been recently renovated which was good, however, we had
issue
s with the hot water, we had to call the maintanence guy as we had the water running for 25 min and didn't have any hot water.

Our only
issue
s with the room: the radiator heat was a little hard to regulate on a chilly night, and the beds were QUITE firm.

1 Nice and safe district - no
issue
s with walking out on the streets at night2 Right next to the subway - 10 minutes to Times Square, 25 minutes to Lower Manhattan3 Good choice of reasonably priced restaurants within a 5 minute walk4 Clean and well presented room5 Excellent value for moneyI've stayed in Central Manhattan before which is nice but would always choose to save $150 per night and stay a bit out of the centre.
