1. While these aren't big things, I was disappointed when I spent over $500 per room for a standard room with 2 double beds.

6. While I can somewhat understand the high cost, the valet service is slow, 30 minutes to retrieve a car, and I was disappointed that the valet guy didn't offer to help with bags, and there was no bellman on duty at checkout time.

I had requested on the reservation a room on one of the 'higher floors' and was a bit disappointed at check in to see we'd been assigned to the 7th floor, however, upon arrival in our room the view was directly looking at the Empire State Building, so that was a big bonus and seriously, we planned to spend very little time in our room so this totally worked.
