1. Go early to avoid crowds, however, staff is right there replenishing food constantly.

I found the crowds typical of a larger hotel, and to their credit, not only did management open up other rooms to accommodate the breakfast crowds on the weekend, but they also left a message on the phone to guests to suggest they eat breakfast on the early side in order to avoid the largest crowds.

7. This is a nice hotel near Bryant Park - one of the nicest parks in Manhattan - and a relatively short walk from Times Square (although for dining and bars, avoid the Times Square area and go down to Soho / Village / Tribeca).

8. We found a phone message waiting from the desk alerting us to the fact that peak breakfast times may congest the elevators and they suggested alternate times to avoid the crowds.
