6. This was a shame as I had emailed twice prior to arrival to ask for a high floor room if possible as this was my parent`s first trip to NYC and an anniversary gift, so really wanted it to be special.

7. We bought the $10 metro card which you can top up as and when and this allowed us travel on the buses and subway, which apart from the smell puts the london underground to shame.
