1. Because NYC hotels are notoriously small and pricey, when we were quoted a rate of $151/night for a standard room we elected to upgrade to a junior suite.

2. Wireless access pricey in the rooms, but free in the club room (lots of people were sitting with me there, working on their laptops).

3. The room was a bit pricey, but it was in a great location and it was a very nice hotel.
"Excellent location for a whirlwind tour of NYC. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/29/2011 Vote
4. Extremely pricey for what you got: scratched furniture, walls needing painting, bulky TV sets, no coffee pot in room, no ice bucket, had to ask for shampoo and conditioner, uninformed and uninterested front desk people, doorman missing most of the time, so so room cleanliness, charge for internet.
"GREAT LOCATION, BAD HOTEL " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/31/2010 Vote
5. The concierge level was very nice and although the continental breakfast seems pricey (we didn't eat there), it's right along the line of what other hotels charge for similar breakfast.
"One of the best hotels in Midtown " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/19/2010 Vote
6. The Affinia can be pricey so try and get it when it's on a special offer, as it is so worth it.
"Second Stay at the Affinia 50 - wouldn't stay anywhere else!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/7/2010 Vote
7. LOCATIONThe location is good and is close enough to Times Sq etc to walk to in say 30mins but not too close to be over the top busy/pricey etc.
"A fabulous suite in a great hotel, with attentive staff " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/7/2009 Vote
8. Of course the in-room snacks are pricey but this is true at all hotels and these were not out of line for normal in-room self-serve items.
"Excellent Stay and "Jet Set Kids" Package amazing! " Read full review on Travelocity   7/1/2008 Vote
9. Like the reader before me also from Hope Mills (though I was not in there group) there were plenty of snacks in the room but they were really pricey and it was cheaper just to get the snacks elsewhere and bring them back to you room.
"Wonderful trip " Read full review on Travelocity   6/1/2008 Vote
10. I had thought that it was a bit pricey but the previous morning we had spent $63 on breakfast next door, so $51 for a family of 5 seemed like a bargain.
"Very friendly service! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/23/2008 Vote
