1. The room was the smallest room I have ever been in and was extremely noisey - to the point where it was difficult to sleep, the front of the hotel is also noisey at night.

4. It's difficult to find a hotel you really like across the boards in Manhattan, and I have consistently been really happy with the 50 since 2008.

5. This is my first time in New York so it is difficult for me to compare this room the others in Manhattan.

6. The only negative point was that the air conditioning was so loud that it made falling asleep a bit difficult (I usually sleep though anything) but it was so hot that we couldn't turn it off without sweltering.

9. While the Aus exchange rate makes finding a cheap place difficult in NY at the moment, I would suggest looking at the Affinia 50 based on 'return on investment'.

10. The room was very large and clean, the bed and chairs comfortable, and the bathroom well appointed and perfectly adequate for two people (though more than two might find it difficult to store their toiletries).
