I have just spent a week in NYC, NY - Manhattan district - with all of the hotels extremely pricey (
ridicul
ou for the average person)- it is so hard to find a decent hotel, in a safe area, with great ammenities.

The room was no better: I ended up in a
ridiculous
ly tiny room where 95% of the living area was filled by the bed and which was in dire need of urgent refurbishment.
