1. Beach has a few rocks to avoid which was a little bit of a bummer.

2. I'd avoid Black Rock near the Sheraton - parking is difficult, and there are lots of loud young men jumping from the cliffs into the snorkelling area - not pleasant and certainly not serene.

3. The beautiful sandy beach was great for sunbathing, and many people were swimming, but I thought snorkeling was too difficult because just under the water surface were a lot of rocks, and you needed experience to avoid them.

6. Aston does have a grocery store downstairs, but I would avoid it unless you are in a bind.

7. There is a lot of noise from delivery trucks very early in the mornings if you are facing the condo properties on either side of this Aston, so the middle section is best to avoid excess noise.

10. If you want to stay put to relax, avoid the busy Kihei and don't need to eat fancy restaurants, this might be a good place to stay for a few days.
