ly, you can't swim immediately in front of the hotel (except for a decent sized swimming area carved out of the lava) but there is a nice place to swim about 300 meters north of the hotel along the beach.

ly, they did not have any corrective lens snorkel masks available to borrow, so neither my husband or myself could see much underwater beyond colors and shapes darting around us.

ly, there was a massive bird problem where you were fighting for your muffin with dozens of birds every morning as the area was open.
