1. Cleanliness gets lower marks - the hotel is obviously high-traffic and needs some extra attention to details - it's getting grimy and worn.

2. Our room was clean, but you could tell that the carpet in the room and hallways was well-worn/tired and some of the decor seemed a little dated.

3. The property was a nicely converted older building, with a nice lobby, and on-site parking, but slightly worn around the edges, not shabby by any means, but the public areas were just a bit well used, maybe in need of a re-model.
