1. Maybe because it was spring break, the lines were long to get a mediocre hot dog, or 'nachos' which was essentially some Tostitos and a few choices of toppings like melted processed cheese product, salsa, etc.

2. You can save your money to enjoy the entertainment of the Riverwalk and skip the food on Riverwalk (which is mostly mediocre unless you want to spend a lot).

3. I guess what I figured out is that I wanted to stay on the Riverwalk for the variety of restauants and bars, therefore, getting mediocre free food & drinks at this hotel was not worth the extra money.
