1. Fiesta made it a little difficult to get to sleep before midnight (live bands on the plaza until midnight), but that was the only downside.

2. You could make a meal of this or just an appetizer before going out on River Walk The only downside was (unlike breakfast) this was on plastic plates and plastic silverware, but that enabled you to easily carry items back to your room.

Reasonable rates - former Art Deco bank building with plenty of marble and brass - cannot beat the location - short walk to Riverwalk with retaurants and boat rours - spacious rooms - very clean - great Happy Hour with free drinks, hot dogs, and baked potatoes - free full breakfast with cook-to-order eggs - only downside is $18/day valet parking fee but even so this is our favorite hotel in San Antonio.

7. Perhaps the only downside to this hotel is the location, which whilst in no way bad, did feel slightly on the edge of things - certainly compared to other hotels actually on the Riverwalk itself.
