3. (A note of caution to those traveling with friends who might arrive separately when the main registrant of the room has not yet returned, make sure the others sharing your room have their names left at the front desk so as to avoid problems for them getting back into the room.

4. Francisco at the front desk was also quite helpful in providing assistance navigating the parking situation (you can get a parking pass for the city streets from the hotel for a few dollars: this avoids the aggravation of feeding a meter and is well worth it) and telling us about the area.

5. If you are in a garden room, avoid leaving the windows open, otherwise, parts of the natural ecosystem in the garden may want to pay a visit.

6. Short distance to the boardwalk - great for a run in the mornings and decent bus connections to get you to anywhere around Miami Beach (avoid the expensive parking hassle).
