2. Next problem (same evening), I asked Rachel at the front desk for directions to the nearest Red Lobster, she said my wife and I could talk there as it is just over a mile (she was wearing heels and was dressed to kill so I think Rachel behind the desk was being a little thick).

3. As soon as we arrived we knew there would be problems, the hotel (like many on Collins Avenue) stand elevated at the top of steep driveways.

4. Each time there was a problem they did rectify them as soon as they could for us, but 3 times in a row seemed excessive, and something management should review with their staff.

5. The rooms are a little dated (mattress needs replacing,carpet old and new paint needed) and had some problems with toilet which were immediately attended to.

6. While we encountered some problems checking in - the front desk person was quite rude and our room was not ready for at least an hour after the designated check in time - the suite was fantastic and perfect for our needs.

7. Most of the staff were very friendly at this hotel but we did run across a few problems but its hard to fault an entire organization for someone's bad day.

8. There was no concierge we could find at all, and when problems would arise such as the Jacuzzi being too cold or needing help getting a taxi or food at the restaurant taking literally an hour to arrive there was no one around to help.

9. The free wireless connection in the lobby went down every day but they were usually able to reboot and get it back up and running with a half hour of reporting the problem.

My partner did call the manager at one point about a problem and left a message because of problems we were encountering but he or she was not in office (I suspect no one is even on property) but no one bothered to return the call during the 15 days that we stayed at the hotel That to me is very bad management.
