3. Since the weather was so bad, they were particularly busy this week with hotel issues so we did not bother them too much for very many things.

5. For the most part though we were out and about the island, so the construction wasn't an issue.

6. The major issue we had was the location of the AC vent - you couldn't have it running while you sat on the bed or the couch because it blew directly on your head.

7. We had to move from the room we were in the 1st night, as it was damp, bad smelling and we feared a mold issue.

9. We initially thought this was because of the high humidity (it was our first visit to Hawaii), however, other hotels did not have this same issue.

So in conclusion, it would have been nice to be forewarned about the construction (although all of the construction crew was really nice, and always greeted us with a warm Aloha, and it was good to see a lot of people working in todays economy) and with some attention to some issues (new toilets.
