4. You can take a leisurely walk along the beach or open area to Coconut Marketplace or Hukilau Lanai for a great meal avoiding crowds.

7. I would say this hotel is lipstick on a pig at the moment - very surprised the owners are keeping it open during renovation- for the amount going on I would suggest avoiding this property until renovations are completed and services are brought back up to Marriott standards.

9. Here is a tip, if you happen to get a Garden view room that is part of the main 'wing' of the building, avoid the 3rd or 4th floor, as you will also have a great view of the banquet room roof (with pipings, and various other machinery in full view).
