The hot water handle in the bathroom sink broke (wouldn't turn off (it was promptly repaired) and our TV remote had to be replaced (as did several others, I overheard the requests when we were standing near the front desk) Overall I would recommend the hotel due to its proximity to the National Mall, but there may be a few minor inconveniences.

2. Most (old, yellowed and outdated) outlets are found about 2 inches off the floor and in very inconvenient places.
