2. I appreciate that prompt response to my complaint, and it did improve the bed comfort, but I feel a comfortable bed should be a given, not something one needs to ask for.

3. My other complaints would be that there are noises coming from the pipes through the hotel - sounds like water rushing or toilet flushing in the next room, and the elevators are a bit slow (however this gave is time to look over the balcony or to access wi-fi in the lobby).

4. My only complaints would be that the pillows need to be changed (the stuffing was all bunched up in parts of the cushion) - only being picky.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Ohana Waikiki West - convenient having food pantry next door and close to beach - 'free Trolley' as well - free 15 minutes long distance calling daily - staff was not overly friendly but the our rooms were clean although the showers need to be updated - the elevators are slow but we got lots of excercise walking up and down although we were only on the third floor - we had requested a room not facing Kuhio/pool side/bar - so was quiet - the only real complaint we had (didn't notice last visit 2 years ago) was the 'time-share' free breakfast EVERY time you walked in - one particular fellow was extremely aggresive - having free wi-fi in lobby was OK as we didn't need to check our emails constantly -.

10. I read a lot of complaints about the elevators, but considering the size of the hotel I thought they were okay- I have a longer wait at work.
