1. all in all it was pretty much what we expected, middle of the road place not too fancy but a little chic - it was really a good value, I got my room for less than $100 a night which is hard to find in south beach unless you go to some rat hole, would definitely go back and will recommend my friends.

4. we planned two nights pre cruise, and two nights post cruise, tired and weary we arrived at the kent in miami, we had been travelling for over 12 hours,when we got to the hotel, the receptionist ,just looked at us and gave us the key to the room, hardly spoke to us.

In our room itself, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, our lamps had no lightbulbs, the tv remote didn't work, the bathroom door didn't latch properly, there were unidentifiable substances crusted onto the shower curtain, holes in the bed sheets, the screens on the windows were so filthy you could hardly see out the window, etc.

8. It's hard to compare for the price seeing as how I haven't stayed at other hotels, but I guess it was well priced.

9. Also like all the hotels in South Beach the streets are jam packed at all times and it is real hard to pull up and drop off your bags without pissing someone off.
