1. Overall, the hotel is fine, we just had some bad luck with our room and it needed updating.

2. The first 2 stays happened about 5 years ago (July 2007) and I liked it enough to try it a 3rd time, even after reading a lot of bad reviews on the decline of the hotel.

3. The breakfast was not bad, but in order to get back to the rooms from the tiny gym you had to walk through the restaurant, so as you are dining you get to enjoy a parade of sweaty guests in their work out gear.

7. Roof-top pool is lovely and suspect that it's a bit of a 'cool kid' haven at the weekend or holiday time - but that's not a bad thing as it looks very chic and you get some great service at the bar matched only by the view.
