They said the room did not have
mold
but was mildew that we sensed, not true, the sores in my nose were certain of what grew in the carpets of that room.

At the reception they said that they cannot say the room has
mold
, because they would have to decommission the room and the hotel is full, cannot afford to do that.

An air purifier was stationed in the room, only in our room, as we learned later, for the precise purpose of cleaning the
mold
from the air.

After 2 nights of
mold
, we had sores in our noses and my toddler son's eyes and nose were achy,my husband refused to sleep in the room and camped in the hallway on a chair until 3 am.

It was most disappointing - pasta that was served cold and
mold
ed to the bowl it was served in, and somewhat tasteless besides.

We finally made the trip to Lanai and were quite dismayed to find the rooms at that property smelled of mildew and
mold
(even the renovated rooms at Lanai).
