Two hours after checking in, we arranged to check out and fly home early instead -- and this was even before we knew the hotel would agree to refund the $1045/night we prepaid for our executive suite -- we were that heartbroken that we'd checked out of the Hotel Hana Maui (HHM) that morning in favor of finishing our trip at the awful Four Seasons Wailea.
