1. Although location wise, Westin was better as it is right next door to the Whaler's Village and closer to Black rock for those who like to do some snorkeling, Hyatt Regency wins my vote because of its layout.
"A wonderful time " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/1/2012 Vote
2. But that may be by necessity-- the beach in front of the property is small, rocky and less exciting than the Black rock area in front of the Ka'anapali.
"Play-grounds! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/30/2012 Vote
3. We took our grandkids & chose this hotel for the kids pool area w/ water tube through the rocks, wood rope bridge and fountains--and this alone was worth this hotel choice as they used this amenity daily and loved it.
"Great grounds, service & pool , but dated rooms " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/26/2012 Vote
4. But the best on is Molokini, this horse shoe shaped volcanic rock, its really amazing snorkeling experience.
"Good Resort " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/23/2012 Vote
5. The sand is narrow and there are rocks and coral close into the beach.
"Wonderful week in Maui with our kids " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/23/2012 Vote
6. I recommend Black rock, very nice under water reef life right there and you can easily swim by the rocks.
"Good Resort " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/23/2012 Vote
7. The property is located at the start of all resorts, its Hyatt, Westin, Marriott and then others and ends with Sheraton (Black rock Snorkeling).
"Good Resort " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/23/2012 Vote
8. If you want to snorkel the famous Back rock is at Sheraton so you can walk there or take the car there and park at Sheraton.
"Good Resort " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/23/2012 Vote
9. We went to Black rock and Molikini.
"Can't really go wrong with a view like that " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/14/2012 Vote
10. These other two hotels are very nice, and the Sheraton has a great, though often crowded, beach at Black rock, but we preferred the rooms, design, and grounds of the Hyatt.
"Beautiful " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/13/2012 Vote
