8. sadly, I predict that in another year or two, the service and food will have improved and the prices will have doubled or tripled, the crowds grown, the tourist shops hit Lanai City, the resort residences occupied, and the magic of this relatively unknown gem will have been smudged out.

9. I found out later that the boat needed at least 3 paying customers to go out, and sadly I was the only one who had reserved, so it would be a no-go.
