1. Some have complained about the trek from the hotel to the beach or even from their room to the front desk but for us it was a non-issue, and we took great delight in looking at all of the differently themed gardens (Japensese, Chinese, Hawaiian, etc).

5. This hotel still has problems but i still think there is alot of potential here if they would just address some of the issues that they have here.

6. When we checked in they had us far from where I requested to stay and it took about 15 minutes to resolve this issue.

7. Second leg of our anniversary vacation,stayed five days,found everything to be excellent,service was great,getting around the Island no problem,dolphins and whales coming into the bay to say hello is unforgettable,price shouldn't be an issue if you stay here,if it is,Maui is a better bet,saltwater pool is good,but small,and kids will tend to take it over,but kids are kids.

9. Despite a complaint, there was never any follow-up by a hotel manager until I called back a third time to speak to someone about the issues.

10. We had a special dinner arranged at the Lodge at Koele, and the dinner had some problems--improperly prepared portion (but only 1 out of 5, as the rest were delicious), improper lighting, and service issues with presentation/wine.
