2. This hotel is not near the water, but the views of the Diamond Head are nice and we probably should not have chosen the more expensive `ocean view' rooms and just taken the Diamond Head view as many reviewers suggest.

9. We found dining at the restaurant at the Hotel adjacent to the Lotus (Lotus recommended) expensive, with small portions and therefore not a viable choice for us, so once again we would have to walk 10-12 blocks to find suitable dining.
