1. The only problem is that we were facing away from the lagoon and towards the hotel next door.

8. The only draw back about the resort is the distance from the main shopping /restaurant district of Waikiki but it really wasnt a problem as it is only a 15 minute walk along the beach which is beautiful or a quick trolley ride.

It is ok to walk along and it is nice and romantic but if you are after South Pacific beaches then be prepared to travel or try another island, but be warned that , as with LA , there are people begging on the beach as it is public and they will ask you for spare $'s or cigs as they sleep rough every night due to the warm weather , they are not threatening or pushy , just a nice enquiry every now and then but the problem does exist and is off-putting .
