1. Yes there are washers and dryers one can use for free, and they give you small bags of laundry detergent, but the laundry rooms were dirty and not all the machines worked, and the ones that did took 2 hours, plus (so wasted time indoors waiting for laundry to finish).

2. We were excited about using the lagoon (as it was not useable the last time we were there) but it was cooler than the pool or beach, the sand is kind of hard and it seemed a little dirty (fish and birds use the lagoon too) for swimming.

3. One bedroom unit - Lagoon Tower:Shocked & dismayed that the Hilton Grand Vacation Club showcases themselves so positively when the one bedroom we were assigned in the Lagoon Tower looks & feels dismal, is dirty, old and furnished with quite ugly and depressing gold furniture & rugs.

4. Although the carpet seemed new, our room in the Ali'i tower had dirty walls/doors, along with mold and rust on the shower ceiling.

5. Our room had a terrible stink of mildew coming from the bathroom and the hardwood floors had a gritty, dirty residue (the bottoms of our bare feet would turn dark grey after walking around the room).

6. Carpet was a little dirty but the bed was the standard Hilton bed.

7. for an elevator - you can be treated to an outdated suite or room that smells like smoke, despite it being a non-smoking room, a dirty bathroom with a tub that doesn't drain, and walls so thin you can almost hear your neighbor breathing.
