Staying in Waikiki is usually pretty
noisy
anyway so since the gateway is one the main road you do have street noise but it's nothing the air conditioner can't cover up.

We faced towards the airport (where the boulevard comes together) and traffic was
noisy

There are in-window air conditioning units that are
noisy
, the carpets are old and I question the cleanliness of them.

I liked the location of this hotel in that it wasn't in the middle of Waikiki, so it wasn't too
noisy
at night.
