1. Staying in Waikiki is usually pretty noisy anyway so since the gateway is one the main road you do have street noise but it's nothing the air conditioner can't cover up.

3. The carpets were old and dirty, the bathroom had cracking paint and a tub that was worn and dirty in appearance and the lanais did not have properly sealing windows to keep the traffic noise out.
