Why we loved it:* Quiet, Peaceful setting* Small hotel - less hectic & faster service (faster elevators, bell hops, valet parking)* Polite, helpful staff* On Sans Souci Beach- great for swimming, snorkeling, & less busy than Waikiki* The views from the 'Ocean Front' & 'Ocean View Deluxe' rooms were spectacular* We loved walking into town everyday with the great weather & scenery (about 15-20 minutes) * The 'Hau Tree Lanai' Restaurant is excellent* The park next door (Kapiolani) is beautiful* The hotel is a few miles from the trail head of Diamond Head* You get fresh pineapple in your room upon arrival * Beach towels & mats are available in the lobby* Coin Laundry facilities available upon request* Mini-Fridge in the roomConsiderations:* The walk to Waikiki may be a consideration for those with small kids or those who don't want to walk (about 15-20 minutes).
