1. My friends stayed at a more expensive hotel, but I had a hard time keeping them away from my room and the pools.

4. The carpet was stained (I think it was cranberry juice), the bathroom had mildew and hard water stains, and while I had hot water and great water pressure in the morning, it was a little more unpredictable in the late afternoon.

7. The hotel is branded as 'Resort' but the reason why eludes me: no tennis, hardly any activities, a small pool and a tiny gym.

9. I am not sure if the people writing the other reviews are just ultra picky and/or hard to please but we found nothing to complain about with the Royal Palm.

10. They have no safe, tv has no remote, coffee machine doesn't work properly, dust and hair on the floor made it hard to see the colour of the carpet, bed sheets was like a pool of germs and DNA.
