5. nice shops and restaurants along Connecticut Avenue, didn't have to worry about crime or unsavory characters, even at 4am in the morning, felt safe walking in this area, not like other part of town (the southeast area should be avoided).

6. I drive to DC, and when I stay on the weekend, I find it easy to park along the street to avoid expensive parking charges.

My only hesitations about staying there again: (1) it`s a 15 minute walk to DuPont Circle, downhill going and uphill returning, and this isn`t really a problem but all other things being equal I might stay a little closer, since I don`t like to take cabs if I can avoid it; and (2) the hotel has virtually no facilities other than the room.
