6. I think it's obnoxious to complain about the early check out fee: Why would you want to leave the Carlyle?Other guests (and maybe housekeeping staff) did tend to slam their suite doors a bit rudely.

7. There is a high gay population in the area--not uncommon for Dupont Circle and I could care less about sexual orientation, but the staff were rude and the bar downstairs in the hotel is a bonified gaybar--not for everyone.

9. The manager is very rude, 1-800 calls from the hotel aren`t free and they are very expensive, the room is dirty, the bed is full of hair,we had to change the sheets at 8:00 in the evening.
