1. You can also walk to Georgetown which is not too bad of a walk.

My wife and I stayed here while visiting the nearby offices of a professional organization (and that organization paid for the room directly, so I don't actually know whether the value for that particular stay was great, but the advertised rates don't look bad for a place that advertises itself as a luxury hotel).

4. The Metro isn't too far away, but you are centrally located, so cab fares aren't too bad either.
