1. The hotel is located in a convenient and quiet downtown location; we yielded our car to the valet, whoo seemed to be waiting at the front door for us, and did not use it again until the next day; everytjhing we wished was within walking distance.

' We had pizza at the basement restaurant and, although the wait staff couldn`t have been more pleasant, even giving the teenager in our group complimentary 'S`mores' after we came back from a wonderful river walk downtown at sunset, it was clear that the better food would have been at the 'Scratch' restaurant.
