5. I was unable to sleep until well after the nearby bars closed and the streets finally quieted at 3:00 a.m. Unfortunately, I was woken by the early traffic at 6:30 a.m. Unless you plan on staying out until the bars close, I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

7. Also, can't beat this location to stay at if attending a concert at the Kinitting Factory as it is right across the street.

8. Enjoyed walking to the Rocket Bakery down the street for our morning coffee and muffin, and quiche.

9. the sheets did come loose from underneath the mattress due to a ripped elastic band on the mattress pad, which was annoying, and the noise-level from the street/bar downstairs could be heard up on our 3rd floor, but these were minor and didn't ruin our stay.

10. Obviously I cannot blame the Montvale for the insanity of the entertainment district by night, but it should be noted that just down the street - for a similar price - one can be nestled in at the Davenport and not hear any of the ruckus.
