1. For the beach experience we recommend you park on the pier, buy anything and have your parking validated (there is a nice candy shop, an icecream shop and an inexpensive shell shop on the pier as well as two restaurants), walk down the pier to the beach with a blanket and snacks and enjoy.

10. Hotel is well located for restaurants, shopping, etc, too, and although some may argue it's a bit of a way from the beach (25 min walk perhaps?) there was a regular shuttle bus in the area and it's a lovely stroll through much of the entertainment/cultural/shopping areas.
