Love the room I was in, didn't really get the ocean view but the view of the
highway
is good enough since we're only there at night to sleep.

Overall, the hotel itself was nice, but the surrounding
highway
/train/siren/airport noise FAR outweighs the nice parts of the hotel and my stay, as well as my co-workers, pretty miserable.

There is a large busy
highway
at the back of the hotel which can keep a light sleeper awake but it did not keep me awake.

In my opinion, this hotel is aged, poorly managed and not in that great of a location (too far from the Gaslamp District and too close to the
highway
).
