3. unfortunately, my stay here included: 1) a chipped bathtub with a drain that makes drumming sounds and wakes me up when others in the hotel take a shower at 5am, 2) a toilet that doesn`t stop running, 3) a phone where people can`t hear me, 4) a single cookie that is a brick when cooled, 5) undercooked scallops and warm rolls with dinner that are dried out, 6) no hotel info or breakfast order menu in the room, and 7) a keycard that `demagnetized when it was near my cell phone or other credit cards` requiring a trip to the lobby to reactivate.
"Poor Facilities, Poor Hospitality, Poor Guest Assistance " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/7/2007 Vote
4. Dining in Downtown (Gaslamp District) has become too crowded so I ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and was pleased with their new menu.

6. I also walked quite a bit after dark (albeit with a woman colleague), going to and returning from late-ish dinners, and we never felt at risk.

10. If you're a walker like me, I wouldn't recommend walking back to the hotel at night because there were a lot of creeps around the neighborhood when I walked back to the hotel from dinner.
