1. The manager from Ace investigating the claim was nice enough, but it was clear from the outset that they had no intention of doing the right thing and accepting responsibility for their negligence.

3. Two years ago we were vacationing at the Hyatt Pier 66 in Fort Lauderdale, FL and received the same gracious upgrade by the very nice on duty manager at the front desk.

6. And although a spa visit was somewhat mediocre, the employees there were also friendly and professional, and the manager who oversees the spa and the pool area was an admirable representative of the hotel -- very visible, and working very hard.

7. All in all, it seems that this property is run by very young managers and staff that really don't know how to take care of people but are very focused on their computers and each other.
