1. They are nice, but as I find with many of the more upscale places, they charge you for all the little things, and that's truly annoying.

The staff was very friendly, offering to store our luggage when we arrived three hours before check-in time, notifying the cleaning staff that we had arrived so they could clean our room and have it ready quickly, and offering to shuttle us to and from a popular beach spot a mile away at no charge.

10. Hotel rates for car rentals are HIGHER (hidden cost) than online, they charge $20 to park in their EMPTY parking lot (hidden charge) AND they charge for WIFI - which I found out was not working after I paid.
