1. One qualm was the $10 daily Internet fee which wouldn't have been bad if it wasn't per device which I wasn't aware about until $40 later at check out when logged in from laptop, kindle, and phone.

5. I got a terrific price via priceline, upgraded to a 12th floor marina view room for a reasonable $35 fee, and was delighted with what I found.

6. We got this hotel through Priceline for a really good price (we selected the 'San Diego Coastal' neighborhood when bidding on Priceline), and upon check-in we were offered an upgrade to an ocean or marina view room for a reasonable fee.

7. My biggest gripe was the parking fee ($20) for self-parking in an unsecured lot.

8. I have paid additional parking fees in large cities downtown but I can't see how this property gets away with it since they are not downtown, and they have a huge parking lot for guests.

10. Valet will park your car for the same fee if you cannot find parking in the main lot.
